Kiwanis Hasselt Hazelaar chooses to donate the integral proceeds of its annual Kiwanis Charity Tour to children in need. Children who live in your street today, but whom you may not know….
How do we do this? We place an amount of 350 euros at the disposal of a teacher (primary or nursery school), which he/she may freely spend during the school year on several of her/his pupils who are growing up today in difficult financial circumstances and do not receive a filled lunch box every day, cannot bring sweets to class on their birthday or do not have suitable clothes to go to sports with … and there are more of them today than you might think.
This teacher afterwards gives us full transparency about the spending of this money. We also note that they use it very sparingly to be able to help as many children as possible.
